How to Earn BICSI CECs at Fiber Connect 2026
1) Be a BICSI Credential Holder
CECs can be claimed only by BICSI credential holders. If you need to apply or renew, visit the BICSI website: https://www.bicsi.org/
2) Attend Approved Sessions
Programming at Fiber Connect 2026 is pre-approved for BICSI CECs.* Review the agenda and select the sessions that best support your professional goals.
*If any session-level exceptions apply, they will be noted in the agenda.
3) Participate Fully
To qualify for credits, you must attend the full duration of the event as required for CEC eligibility. Partial or single-day attendance may not meet credit requirements.
4) Check In for Verification
Have your badge scanned at the start of every session you attend. Event staff will record attendance as you enter each room.
How to Claim Your BICSI CECs
Step 1: Receive Your Attendance Certificate
After the event, you will receive an email if attendance records confirm that you met the requirements. Follow the instructions in the email to access your certificate.
Step 2: Submit Your Credits to BICSI
Log in to your BICSI account and navigate to the certification maintenance section.
Upload your attendance certificate as proof of participation and complete the submission process as directed on the BICSI site.
Step 3: Track Your CECs
Once submitted, your credits will be added to your BICSI certification record.
